Channel ISLANDS Marina, Oxnard, CA.
The broker asked the other day if I wanted to sell
and I said yes. They may have someone in
San Francisco interested and another in L.A.

I also offer teaching you about boating (I've been a U.S.C.G. Licensed Captain since 1985. I can offer you boat handling under all conditions, proper docking under all conditions, navigation and much more.

I've been a U.S.C.G. Licensed Captain for over 30 years. If you are interested, I can teach you Boat Handling, Docking, Offshore, Anchoring, Navigation, Charting, Radar, Fishing and much more.

I believe that my boat will be valued at a minimum of $75 or more once finished. Or buy-it-now and do some work yourself and save lots of $$$ or hire some people, lots of workers are out of work and can work for less now. Not a lot to do, just takes time.

The diesel runs great, starts right up every time and sounds very great. Always maintained.

All of the Grand Banks 32' are the basically the same design and the same materials up to 1974. But not all are in great shape. So the year does not matter, it is a matter of condition. They built 861 of these vessels all with the same basic design up to 1993.

I work with pride on this very special beautiful boat 7 days a week and it is loaded with new equipment. The Grand Banks boats have been the traditional industry design to copy and others have tried over the last 50 years but the Grand Banks is still the vessel to own. One of the most seaworthy, long range go anywhere boats. I am currently working daily on the boat but I need help and money.

This would be a great family boat or live-a-board. I find it a bit small for my needs of full time living.

WHAT I HAVE DONE RECENTLY since March 09.

I have just done the bottom with 3 coats of good bottom paint.
I also refinished the hull and bulwarks.
Nice stainless, nice canvas on bridge on stern.
Nice canvas covers new varnish stern.
Nice canvas over names on bridge.
Nice canvas on oval names house.
Nice canvas over horn front of house.
New white Sunscreen all windows
New upholsteryJan, 2010

I have the mast and boom, but it is off. I am thinking I want to cut in half and step from the bridge.
I am in the process of stripping all the varnish.
And will be redoing all the varnish etc.
I am in the process of sanding the house and new paint soon.
I will be repainting the interior (which is not in bad condition) and wanting to make the boat all new looking.
Work in progress, best is to come see the vessel. After paint and varnish I would put this boat up against any GB 32' the same year.
People that know saw the bottom when I had it in the boat yard and commented that it must have been redone a few years as it is that nice said it was in such great condition. I also repainted the bridge and bridge deck, but maybe put a nice design (Dolphin) with non-skid down. Yes the vessel needs some more cosmetic work, but nothing serious.
New wiring in progress. If all done it would be a serious $85k + boat, everything is still there from new and in good condition. Must see to appreciate. I'll add more to this info soon.
